Zero malaria! China is officially certified

The World Health Organization (WHO) released a press release announcing that China has been officially certified by the World Health Organization (WHO) to eliminate malaria On June 30疟疾.

In 2019, there were about 229 million malaria cases and 409,000 deaths worldwide, according to WHO.
The WHO African Region accounts for more than 90 per cent of malaria cases and deaths globally.
